Profhilo Treatment in Margate, Kent

Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid for skin that’s losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, knees or any other part of the body showing signs of ageing. Profhilo results in an immediate improvement in skin tone and hydration as well as firmness and it can reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Profhilo is not like other dermal fillers. It’s unique structure allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration and cause ‘remodelling’ of the skin. It does this mainly by reacting with your own skin tissue to instantly boost hydration and over the four weeks following treatment it boosts elastin and collagen production significantly.

Although immediately following treatment (which involves 5 superficial injections to each side of the face, the most commonly treated area) you may have small lumps, these will distribute smoothly and evenly within 12-24 hours. There are very few side effects or risks associated with Profhilo for this reason ,however there may be a very small bruise at the injection site or some mild swelling.

The initial treatment consists of 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart. To prolong the results, you may require another single session after around 6 months.
