What is Redensity 1 skin booster?
Teosyal Puresense Redensity 1 is used to improve tissue quality, increase hydration and minimise lines and wrinkles. Redensity 1 is an injectable Hyaluronic Acid based product and contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids and antioxidants.

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally within our body, mainly our skin and gives it hydration by binding to water.

Redensity 1 can be used for improving the skin around the eyes, mouth, face, neck, and décolleté, providing comprehensive rejuvenation and hydration to these areas.

How do skin boosters work?
The treatment works by injecting the skin booster into a specific area of the body. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main ingredients and this stimulates the growth of new collagen, resulting in plumper healthier looking skin.

The treatment consists of microinjections performed evenly across the whole face or area of concern so that the product is spread evenly into the skin. This creates small bumps which are visible and usually go down within 6-12 hours. The product will then spread into the tissues and begin working immediately with full results taking 2- 4 weeks.

Is it painful?
Skin boosters are relatively pain free; however, you may feel a slight discomfort at the point of injection. Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.

Are there any potential side effects?
The downtime after Redensity 1 injections is minimal. Some individuals may experience mild superficial bruising, which typically resolves quickly. The eye area can be more susceptible to swelling / puffiness after this treatment and potentially could last upto 2 weeks in the worst cases so we advise you not to make big arrangements or attend important events within this time frame. Common side effects may include- pain at the point of injection, tenderness, mild swelling, lumps/bumps, but these usually subside within a few hours.

Less common side effects can include-inflammatory reactions, infection, loss of sensitivity around the injected area, risk of allergy and nodules.

Am I a candidate?
Redensity 1 skin booster is for individuals of any age who experience signs of aging, such as tired and drawn features, loss of tone and radiance, wrinkles, and lines. 

Contraindications include but are not limited to; pregnancy, breastfeeding, autoimmune conditions, allergies to any ingredients, active illness/infections, cold sores. Please contact us to discuss any f these prior to making an appointment if they apply to you.

How many treatments do I need?
For optimal results, it is recommended to have an initial course of 2-3 sessions spaced 3 weeks apart. Followed by a session every 6-9 months to sustain the results.
